Another wonderful, interesting book from Diana Norman/Ariana Franklin! This one, similar to her others was a little slow in the beginning, but picked up about 1/3 of the way in. This is the 2nd of the Makepeace Headly series and takes place in Plymouth, England during the Revolutionary war (around 1778). This book really focuses on freedom and liberty (surprising given the title! ha) and what that means regarding race, gender, and class. Loved it.
