After releasing a dread force on the already-dying world, Vin and the crew try to find a way to stop the destructive force and the apocalypse before it is too late.

Well, it was a little too religious, and Vin and Elend are almost too well adjusted for characters in their early 20s in the end, but the book certainly kept me reading through quickly to the end and provided satisfying answers to all of the questions it posed.

I was pleased with discovering the truths of the kandra, hemalurgy, and the nature of the mists. I just could've done with less faith-wrestling from Sazed (one of my favorite characters, mind). Vin and Elend also got a bit unbelievable for me, but in general, I enjoyed the series a lot. Just make sure you have time for an epic before you begin. Reading this trilogy while moving was a bit ambitious.
