The second book in Stieg Larsson's trilogy, The Girl Who Played with Fire takes a much closer look at Lisbeth Salander, delving deep into her background as she finds herself accused of murdering two people working with Mikael Blomkvist on a human trafficking story.

Unfortunately, I can't delve too much into the details of this book without giving up the ghost, but what I will say is that although this book didn't quite live up to the name of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", it is still an excellent effort on Larsson's part. An exciting page-turner, this book definitely whetted my appetite for the final part of the trilogy, "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest".
