I loved it! I was even able to get past the fact that Alex, on the cover looked a lot like Sanjaya from American Idol. Once I was able to think of Alex as a completely different person than Sanjaya, I loved him. I don't know any gangstas personally so I don't know how accurate his character was, but I think the author did a good job of making him a likeable bad boy. There was only one part that stood out to me, that I didn't really think fit. It was on page 270, when Alex saw Brittany in her bikini. These were his thoughts...

She's wearing a yellow bikini, leaving very little to the imagination. Does she realize she looks like a sunflower, ready to rain sunshine on all who look down upon her?

How gangsta is that?! Yo! *rolls eyes* Other than that line, I loved the book.

OK but here is one of my favorite quotes

"Was Paco in here?"

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA you want to know what that means...read the book!

Ok here's another good part. I can't help it I have to add this.

"The reason I want you to put a shirt on is, well, because, um..."
"You've never seen a guy with his shirt off?"
"ha, ha. Very funny. Believe me, you don't have anything I haven't seen before."
"Wanna bet?" he says, then moves his hands to the button on his jeans and pops it open.
Isabel walks in at that exact moment. "Whoa, Alex. Please keep your pants on."

I just loved this book!
