This book is rich with the cozy pictures, and is welcoming in the victorian home bring the yearly visit from St. Nick to glowing life.

The picture of this book are created with what seems to be watercolor paints. There is a lot of detailed things inside the home. The Christmas trees branchs are very vivid becuase of the way the brussles are curved. There is no border in this book simply because the pictures take up the whole page, this gives the book more character because there is more picture to look at. The title page is a simple page with 3 Christmas trees that makes young children excited for Christmas. The word boxes are bordered with the traditional Christmas colors of red and green. This story and all its features makes young children get excited for the joyous holiday.
