really liked it
bookshelves: 14-16, death-and-dying, suicide, art

Of all the "someone commits suicide and the living have to learn to cope" this is the best one I've read, I think. This is like a much better, more realistic 13 Reasons Why. Mainly because, there really aren't any reasons why, and often aren't.

I wasn't sure where they were going with the art teacher, and am still not sure that subplot was as successful. But, on the whole, an amazing first novel.
