I could not wait to get my hands on this book after the way the last one ended. This is the conclusion to Kian and Taylors story so sadly we will have to say goodbye but not before we get our happily ever after. Kian and Taylor fought demons that were way bigger than them and for a while I wasn’t sure if they were going to make it through them. The love these two have for each other is one of fairytales but after the tragedy that strikes Taylor again, Kian wonders if he made the right decision leaving her in the first place. If you read the first book, you know that Kian got pulled up to the big leagues and is now playing in Seattle and the distance is hard between the two of them. Not to mention the fact that no one has heard anything from Blake and that just adds to the reason Kian wants to come home. Taylor knows how hard it is for him but with rumors going around that Blake is gone back to Scottsdale, she is as relaxed as she can be and just trying to finish her last semester of school. With a few trips back here and there these two lovebirds spend as much time together as possible and after the holiday disaster, Taylor’s parents are still leery about Kian but are learning to accept it for what it is. A little time after Kian returns back to Seattle tragedy strikes Taylor again and this time Kian isn’t sure what will become of them. As much as she love him, Taylor knows she needs to make sure Kian doesn’t lose his dream and forces him to stay in Seattle and keep playing for her, giving her the time she needs to heal. Kian is trying to understand why she needs the space because he can’t stand feeling so helpless when it comes to her especially miles away, but what she wants is what she will get because what else can he do? These two have a lot to overcome but you’ll have to read to find out if they do. It is a really great story and I was glad I got the chance to read it.
