This series is getting more and more serious by the book. I found this adventure to be a bit more clean-cut than some of the previous ones; a couple of the earlier books left me scratching my head wondering what happened, but that didn't occur here. This was murder mystery for sure, and while Jim Butcher was going for a twist ending, I still was able to figure out whodunnit, long before the book reached it's conclusion (thank you, Agatha Christie). You're still laughing at parts, but this story definitely has a more serious undertone, playing out a bit like a TV drama. Overall I enjoyed it and I will continue to see this series to the end!
