liked it

The story of a daughter reeling in the days after her mother's unexpected death, seethes with the vivid near hallucination and the rapid nearly pressured thought that i recall from Ferrante's "Days of Abandonment." Incidentally, it is also remniscent of the more controlled " The Year of Magical Thinking" by Joan Didion...only because both describe a chaotic reaction to death.

Probably deserves 4 stars, but I just liked, and related to, the chaos in Days of Abandonment a bit more.
