really liked it
bookshelves: young-adult, fantasy, science-fiction
Read from April 24 to May 11, 2010

I enjoyed this way more than the uglies series. Westerfeld is great at creating believable alternate realities. The story lulled at parts, but mostly it was exciting and original. The pictures were awesome. My only frustration was that this was only half the book. Would it be too much just to publish a thousand page book so I could read it all at once?

Cutiebear I think I would give it 3.5 stars. It was O.K., but I have not felt the need to run out and buy book 2.

Hamster Those illustrations are pretty neat though, huh?

Cutiebear Love the illustrations. Westerfield definitely has a great imagination. I would like to read the next book but it's not like The Hunger Games when I cannot wait to get my hands on it. Or even the last of the Inheritance Cycle books. Every now and then I check to see if there is even a publish date on that one.
