Joseph Banks' story is remarkable: a combat engineer on a B17 who saves the lives of his fellow crewmen with lots of miraculous help only to lose all of these friends when the plane is blown up on the 49th mission (they would have been through with combat after the 50th). Banks is miraculously saved, again and again, as he endures horrible hardship as a prisoner of war held by the Germans. This tale will inspire faith and admiration for this remarkable man.
