really liked it

A powerful book about the strength of human character. This is a difficult story to read, filled with profanity, sex, sadness, and futility. But Precious is a determined young woman who forces people to see her for who she is and who she can become. In the end, a survivor's tale with great hope. I don't know if "enjoyed" is the correct word, but I would definitely recommend this book anyone who works with teenagers. It will open your eyes to a world most of us are unfamiliar with (Thank God!) and cause one to look beyond the outward attitude of some teens and into their hearts.
