really liked it
bookshelves: humor, judaica

I first discovered Shalom Auslander on This American Life with Ira Glass, on NPR. In my opinion, Auslander is the David Sedaris of the Jewish world. This hilarious read will have you laughing in your seat, squirming in your chair, and unable to stop turning the pages. The language and content are not for the faint of heart, but Auslander writes with a frank honestly and simply asks for people to accept his decisions, even though he doesn't demand them of others. Highly recommended!
