This is a fun, quick read that I liked, but it wasn't entirely my thing. I really liked the descriptions of small town life and the colourful characters; Dolly, the town gossip who runs the diner, the busy body church group trying to cram their morals down everyone's throats, and "Chilly Willy", the friendly newcomer to the town. Their interactions were amusing and realistic with well written, believable dialogue. The book wasn't full of the cheesy one-liners that so many mystery/crime shows and books fall prey to, although it did have 1 or 2 (chapter 13 has a paragraph that ends "He was dead wrong." - LOL).

My problem with this book was I found I didn't really get involved in the story and the climax wasn't very exciting. I like a mystery that's really gripping at the end but this one ended as it began, light and fluffy, which is great if you like that kind of story.
