bookshelves: crime, non-fiction, true-crime

This is the riveting account of Gary Gilmore, who was executed in Utah. If you're looking for a Norman Mailer book to read following his recent death, this isn't a bad place to start. It's one of the two books for which he received the Pulitzer Prize (the other was "Armies of the Night"), although the book he may be best known for was the World War II novel, "The Naked and the Dead."
