it was amazing
bookshelves: children-s-books, nature, picture-books

A very touching story of Wangari Maathai, the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize winner and the founder of the Green Belt Movement. There is not much biographical detail because the focus is on the trees and impact they had on Kenya. The cloth collages coupled with Nelson's paintings are stunning.
