Chris Anderson appears to have written this book while sitting at a coffee shop with only the web and a few popular books (e.g., Predictably Irrational) to rely on as research.

The book consists largely of Anderson's musings on the concept of free. I would have given this book only two stars (or even one) except that Anderson is the editor of Wired magazine and knows what he's talking about.
