This is the perfect way to sample the writing of Mel Bosworth. To be entirely honest, I hadn't read much of his work prior to this. I liked his collaborative effort with xTx in SHUDDER PAGEANT, but I'd never have guessed he had the kind of creative genius which produced the likes "The Humble Origins of the Milky Way (boys)." I'm not sure if you can even buy this book any more, but if you can, you probably should. For the time you'll invest, you'll feel more invested in. This book is solid piece of craftsmanship, to boot, and honestly I'm a bit more than surprised by the overall quality. It's good to know there are people putting as much into their work as Bosworth and Folded Word. Color me converted. And all of this having gotten the book for free as a result of buying the man a few beers on his birthday. Thank you, Mel. Thank you, Folded Word. Carry on and forth.
