AT times this book was slow, ...then sometimes it flowed. Mark a conservative Jew, with a wonderful family, suddenly finds his beautiful wife has left him along with his 3 children. He hires a detective to find them. His discussions with the detective, ....and his desire to live a virtuous life, as well as his humaneness, make for some absorbing reading. One learns, however, ....that sometimes our ideals make us blind as to how the people around us really are.
