really liked it
bookshelves: amish-fiction, christian-romance

Suzanne Woods Fisher does not write "typical" Amish fiction. Her realistic characters wrestle with very complex non-typically "Amish" dilemmas. In this case: investment business, possible theft, investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission, possible suicide, con-artists, and neurosurgery. Oh yes, and she throws in a little romance just for good measure!

I highly recommend this book both to anyone who has ever grappled with the "Why me?" questions of life, and to those who think they can handle all that life throws at them on their own.
