I'm stopping after reading about 3/5 of the book. I thought it was fantastically rendered. The writing was lyrically paradoxical, at times both beautiful and brutal. The protagonist is a man who cannot stop walking. Eventually it starts to pull his family and his life apart. I'm stopping not because I disliked the book, but because it was affecting me too much. I wanted to read something more lighthearted. I gave it three stars because I didn't finish it to give it five, and it was too well written to give it less than three.
