Well oh dear! This book was quite fun. Consuming it was much like sinking my teeth into a strawberry marshmallow. Over her day the sweet Miss Pettigrew does live! And its the 30's and oh my they had designers then! She drinks, she dances, she talks sense into the very young, she throws out cocaine and encourages fights and "Bohemian tendencies" in the young and even herself a little. A few years ago a movie was made of tis film, and it is as darling as the book (if not more fun due to the visuals).
