it was ok
bookshelves: young-adult

I laughed so many times during the beginning third of the book. At about that point, Doug, the titular character morphed into something apathetic that was very unappealing. I felt like Rex ran out of steam and ideas. Even the bad guy, revealed at the end of the book, seemed to not really care about what happened. It started well and ended poorly. Sigh.
