I didn't mind this book. It centres around Nora, a young girl in High School who's whole life is turned upside down when she is seated next to local bad boy, Patch. As things in Nora's life start to get a bit strange, it seems there is more to Patch than meets the eye. I remember being pretty gripped with this one, and I did want to find out what happened next. But the reason it gets a mere three stars is that I just found Nora's reasoning unbearably frustrating. She's ridiculously paranoid, suspecting almost everyone she meets as being a murderer and 'out to get her'. She spends the whole book being suspicious of Patch, then, when it's revealed she was right to be worried she suddenly trusts him implicitly! It just seemed that Nora's cautious, yet trusting character was a major contradiction in itself. But the plot was pretty good and there is definite potential in this one.
