really liked it

One could wish that Eleanor Bold didn't tremble and weep so much, but I suppose that was what Victorian young ladies were expected to do. Aside from that little silliness, this is an utterly endearing book -- Trollope at his best: urbane, balanced, witty, sympathetic, and so, so funny.
