I'll continue with all the other reviews people have given this book, by first saying, I noticed the cover right away (though, nobody else mentioned what was underneath the dust jacket).. and I'm guilty of judging a book by it's cover so I bought it.. It's definitely an interesting explanation of how the evil witch became so evil.. but the book was predictable after a certain point. It also would have been nice if the King and Queen had been given proper names (like the author took the liberty of in the Wizard of Oz adaptation, "Wicked"). It was strange to read an entire book with the main character called "The Queen." It was a cute, quick read though.. I'd still recommend it for anyone that's a fan of the movie.
