really liked it

This is stuff from Loebs golden times before he started take a drugs (Or what the ***** ruined his comics writing talent). He was excelent Batman writer in this times. One of the best ever.
But this isn´t his best Batman book. And I do not think this ever could have such ambitions.
This book is actually a guide to Batmans modern world. And guider isn´t mr.Loeb. But one little Korean guy. Very talented one. Jim Lee is with no doubt in top five of artist who ever painted superheroes comics.
This book don´t emerged, becouse Loeb wrote another brilliant scenario aka Long Helloween. Lee wanted to draw Batman, so the DC bosses found someone who wrote something to these beautiful pictures.
But that detective plot is realy poor. It´s not a stupid. not boring and dialogues is great, but guess who the ”mystery“ villain can even average retarded person. And Batman should be the best detective in the world.
Why such a high rating? Well it is great book. Unfortunately, only just for amazing drawing of Lee.
