really liked it
bookshelves: paranormal-romance
Read in January, 2010

Tempting Danger was really 4 1/2 stars for me. I found the premise and the world building good but, as is the case with many first books in a series, the book was a bit uneven until the last 1/3. It really came together in that last 1/3 though! I enjoyed Grandmother Li Lei Yu very much. I will definitely read the next in the series as I can see it really growing on me after getting the world/culture building done in the first book. A romantic suspense set in an interesting werewolf/"others" world. It is lighter on real romance than I usually enjoy but the suspense is good and I look forward to reading the rest in the series.

Shannon C. Good review!

I like this series as well. I've read all the books to date and they remind me a of a mystery/cop book combined with paranormal romance.

Gamatst Thanks, I'm looking forward to the rest of the series but have gotten side tracked by Laurenston's Magnus Pack along with a few others. Now Pleasure of a Dark Prince is out so...

Zeek This is one that has been on my radar for awhile now too but just haven't gotten to it yet- really need to do that now!

Gamatst Zeek, be sure and read the short story Originally Human from the anthology, Cravings, after this first book. It will really add to, and round out this story, making it even better!

Zeek ooo think I can get that on my kindle? :P

Gamatst Yep, I have Cravings on my Kindle app. So far only the third book in the series "Blood Lines" isn't available on Kindle, hope that changes soon.

Zeek kewl
