This was a fun, quick read. I read it in less than 24 hours. It was the perfect book for pleasure reading and it didn't require much thought. I enjoyed the love story in it. I'll be interested to read the sequel (the life of Rachel and Leah when they are married to Jacob) - a surprising change from my poor experience with "Rebekah". The difference, I think, was lowering my expectations for the book and not hoping it would provide accurate historical details (Like the Work and the Glory). As a simple novel, it was a pleasant read.
