OK this was a crazy book. I got to tell you after the other ones she has written she has changed her writing style. Going from 1st to t 3rd person and giving others 1st person. Lots of details and seemed really complicated to follow. Some unexpected twist and turns where nice. Seems like she was in 'fantasy land' more with this one than the last few and was a little hard to follow. She has upped her vocabulary and Mac's inner dialog to new heights. If it was my first of the series I don't know if I would have read another. While I liked that it was ending the series and I had waited so long I found myself having to re-read parts going 'huh?'. That isn't my favorite way to read a book but maybe that was just me. Lots of FAE history that I was trying to keep straight.
