Micah is a liar. That’s the first thing she’ll tell you about herself, and it’s probably the only full truth she’s ever spoken. I had heard a lot about this novel set in New York City (Central Park is pretty important to the story) and while it’s certainly different, I’m not sure how I feel about it. I was moving along okay, thinking it was getting kind of old, when a game-changing twist came at page 173. Still not sure what to think of it. The author calls it a physiological thriller. It’s certainly physiological, but I’m not sure I’d consider it a thriller. A hard book to recommend, perhaps. If you are going to read it, don’t look for any information on it, spoilers will spoil it indeed.
