really liked it
bookshelves: ya, chick-lit

It's difficult to like Samantha Kingston in the opening chapters of Before I Fall. She's a selfish, self-obsessed, popular teen who taunts less popular students without a second thought. Forced to relive, several times, what she believes is the last day of her life, it's clear to her and the reader that minor changes in her behavior can completely alter a day's outcome, not just for her and her friends, but countless others as well. Before you know it, you'll like Samantha and find yourself hoping that she's in a dream or a mental hospital, anything but in that car accident detailed in the opening pages. Read it and share it with your friends.
