liked it

** spoiler alert ** I generally have enjoyed Brown's books about Robert Langdon. I did not enjoy this one as much. There were areas of the plot that could have been very good, but it almost seemed that he was trying to hard to match the success of his previous Langdon books. It was disappointing that the whole adventure really lead to not much of anything and the ending was a huge letdown. Even though I understood Solomon's son's anger toward his father, I had an extreme amount of difficulty understanding why he destroyed his aunt's lab and directed so much hatred toward her. The dialogue also seemed a little strained. I found it unrealistic that the characters spent so much time narrating their actions, the story, etc. Also the involvement of the CIA is still a mystery (I understand their role, but it didn't make sense).
