This was Bowden’s first novel before Blackhawk Down and Killing Pablo. It tells the story of Larry Lavin a dental student in Philadelphia who starts off dealing pot and eventually builds it into a huge cocaine empire. It tells of his rise, the downfall and his period on the run before he is caught and convicted. Ok read.
