Not my favorite Grandma Dowdel book, but it was still a fun read with a nice message. If you enjoyed A Long Way From Chicago or A Year Down Yonder you should read this. It's very nostalgic of the 50's, and anyone who grew up in that era will probably like revisiting that time through this story. I don't think kids today can really relate to what life was like back then, but I still think Grandma's antics make up for that.
