Sally isn't crazy. But she's just escaped from a sanitorium, the FBI want to talk to her, and her recently murdered father won't stop calling. She's managed to make it safely to her estranged aunt's home - in a sleepy little place called the Cove, a postcard-perfect town.

But the FBI, in the form of hunky special agent James Quinlan, show up in the Cove right behind her. Quinlan's posing as a private investigator, hired by the son of a couple who disappeared in the Cove several years ago. His questions are just a cover to disguise his real interest - Sally - but he's intrigued by the obvious lies of the town's residents.

When two dead bodies show up, there's suddenly more than one mystery for Quinlan to solve. And someone's still after Sally.

I'm don't generally go for thrillers, but this one was fun. Entertaining, tantalizing, a little over-the-top without going too far... A nice bit of escapist fiction.
