did not like it

Maybe I should have started with the first book in this series, but starting with this book I just couldn't get into it. I wasn't getting into the characters, the story, or the writing style. I stopped ready after about 100 pages.

LeeAnn You really need to begin with the first book, DragonSpell. That and the second book are probably the best of the series.

message 1: by Camille (new)

Camille Vann If you work with the DOE I think I interviewed with you last week. My names Camille. If you like Edwidge Danticat as much as I do, you might like Behind the Mountains, written for tweens and teens. Its an easy read for 5th -8th grade reading levels. For students with more ability I would suggest, Midnight by Sister Souljah. Enjoy
