liked it

(Extract from an email to my deployed husband upon completion.) I am done. It is finished. I have now read War & Peace. I recommend it, but the last chapter of the epilogue is twenty pages of philosophy. At least the first chapter of the epilogue was some novel, the last chapter had no saving fictional characters just you and Tolstoy battling through the ideas of power, genius, command, and free will. I survived. I will try and remember the characters I liked with fond memories. Everyone gets married who is supposed to get married and they live happily ever after two men tied to their wives apron strings (where husbands should be ;-) )most important they are are all happy and finally found where they fit in life.
