Lies & the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair & Balanced Look at the Right
This book, like Franken's other, was forgettable. His objections were not substantive. With an army of researchers nitpicking and scrutinizing every written and spoken word of conservatives who have spent much of their adult lives as talking heads, Franken's efforts yield very little indeed. If anything, this effort simply reinforces my preexisting notion that Franken's positions are weak and indefensible, so he prefers to avoid discussing them. O'Reilly said he won a Peabody when it was a Polk or vice versa (I don't even remember which it was). Coulter said a news story wasn't in the New York Times when it was. Therefore, increasing taxes and government programs are good ideas? Weak.
