did not like it

OK, Im going to be honest and tell you how I feel about Faulkner.....Fuck Faulkner. No, seriously, fuck him! Im sorry, hes got a lot of street cred. but his books are slow and dull and do not capture the reader at all (I have the attention span of a fish). I tried reading this one and "Sanctuary" and even though they sounded awesome, within the first chapter I couldnt read anymore. His work is like nails on a chalkboard. I cant follow his writing at all, maybe im retarded (good possibility of this). Its so slow and dull, I don't know what any of the characters are doing half the time. I drift in and out of conscious while reading his work. I have no patience... He also loves to use Southern slang, which is the most annoying thing to hear in your head after 20 pages; "Ya'll" and shit like this! See isnt it annoying just thinking about that one word, imagine 20 pages of this!

So there, I said it.

Now that Ive ranted, maybe I can stop critiquing the works of famous writers and be more constructive. Like I have any right to judge such a "great" writer! Where the hell do I get off?!? I think Im so smart with my dumb little critiques, my updates on facebook every 20 minutes, and my lack of any ambition. If it came down to it; I could not write if my life depended on it. Im full of shit.If you read this far, disregard everything Ive written....I need a life
