This was a fun, good book. Penny is transplanted from New York City to Hogs Hollow when her parents seperate. Penny's mom opens up an cupcake only bakery (named the Cupcake Queen). Penny's life in Hogs Hollow is filled with mean girls, a cute boy, wonderful friends, and of course cupcakes. All while Penny has to figure out where life is leading her and what she really wants. Light, well-paced, enjoyable chick-lit. Although it did make me want to eat cupcakes on several different occasions.

Stacy McElliott let me know what you think! It sounds interesting!

Laura It was really good. It was a fun, chick book. I would also recommend the Last Song by Sparks. The movie is coming out in April (although it has Miley in it).
