What an enjoyable read. Smooth, easy prose. Compelling enough story. Quirks. Plus the fun of trying to guess the setting, all the while knowing that the setting doesn't really exist. If you're looking for a book that's gently thought provoking, this one's a nice choice. A bit repetitive at times, but it felt like the repitition was more a result of the various narrators obsessively rehashing events from their personal histories, rather than the author beating home a point, so even that wasn't terrible.
