Nugent touches on several topics of nerd. He does a little bit of history, a bit of modern day gatherings, and a bit of autobiography.

I wish he had picked one and done a lot.

I enjoyed each section, especially the part about anti-nerd society in history, but I wanted to know more before he moved on to the next section.

It was interesting, but I guess it wasn't nerdy enough for me.

On a side note, does anyone else get a weird sense of joy when they read a book that takes place where they live or have lived? Nugent talks about boffing in Amherst and it gave me a little thrill. No? Just me? OK then.
