liked it

Reviewers on Amazon seem to really like this book. It was fine. For my own personal tastes I don't care as much for Matthias' experiences and perspectives. I know the religious aspects could turn people off, but that didn't bother me--as a matter of fact I was impressed that the author wasn't afraid to mention God and to bring up questions about how God fits in to the bad things that are happening in the world. This author likes to ask a lot of questions as a means to ponder the way things are done, so she doesn't answer all the questions for us. Her style of writing isn't my favorite, which is why at best I couldn't give her books higher than 4 stars, but I made an exception for the previous book in the series to indicate how much more I liked that one than all the other ones, although the 4th book came close to that too.
