A solid 4.5 stars ... Ms. Price's "PsyCop" series has become one of my favorites (gay sleuth or not); Book #5 makes me love it even more. This book is by far, the most personal and layered - in terms of Victor's life. We have him relieving the days in Camp Hell, trying to find a very bad spirit in a hospital, and finding out that someone keeps a tab on him (and willing to kill for it). Victor is not a usual hero, he has issues ... but he feels real and I can't help to like him very much. Even if I am a bit annoyed that he's running his investigation of his past life behind Jacob's back, since that boyfriend of his is really dedicated to him. However, I love this new development in their life; Jacob with his "talent" of blocking the Psychs, sort of balancing Victor out (I love the scene when the two of them doing the exorcism) ... that is just wonderful. I can't WAIT to read the next book in this series.
