If you flipped through my paperback copy of this book, you'd see a dog-eared page for every page five pages for the first half of the book. I never thought I would get through it.

Thankfully, this somewhat hard-to-follow story turned into something much more intriguing after that first half. I got lost in the world of the characters once their struggle to survive began. It took me ten days to get through those first 150 pages, and one night to finish it.

I still have a problem with the confusion of when exactly this story is supposed to take place. The pop culture references make it seem as if it takes places in the incredibly near future (aka present), but the political references don't match up.
