Kyle Kingsbury is the hottest thing to happen to Tuttle Academy, and he's got an attitude to match. He has no idea what he's in for when he agrees to take a goth chick to the school dance as a joke. That hideous goth chick is Kendra, a witch, who casts a spell on him that turns him into a hideous beast. He is then given two years to find true love (and be kissed by said true love) in order to return to his previous handsome form. If he doesn't find that love, he will remain a beast forever.
This modern take on the classic story of "Beauty and the Beast" doesn't offer up any new twists. The plot remains largely the same as the classic, other than the setting. The love story will appeal to most teens and it is a good match for fans of Twilight and the likes.
