it was ok
bookshelves: young-adult-literature

For a YA novel, slow as molasses up a hill on a cold day. The characters are sympathetic and realistic and the wild west setting is historically true to form, but it's also what makes this book drag on and on. I was more interested in Sally, Maude's sister, than I was in her.
