really liked it
bookshelves: read-in-2010

I chose to reread the series before picking up this book and I am glad I did. By doing so, I was fully in contact with the characters and the story line from the beginning. It made a big difference. I don't know what I was expecting from this book, but it took me by surprise on many levels. Given that it was the last in the series, I would have loved for everyone to find a happy ending. That didn't happen, which sets the stage for the spin-off series. I will look forward to that. Adrian, Jill, Sydney, Eric, and Mia.....they all need a good resolution. I also would have loved to see Christian or Dimitri propose marriage, but I'm just a sap that way.

Anyway, for the most part I am satisfied with the finale. I will leave off the fifth star for the "collateral damage" left in the wake of Rose's happy ending. Overall, this was a great series and I hate to see it end.
