really liked it
Read in January, 2012 — I own a copy

This has always been my favourite book from my childhood. I was eleven when I read this and it was read many, many times again over the past thirteen years, to the point where is it wearing down.

Azkaban is where Rowling hits her stride and it flows beautifully, and it also introduces Sirius, who is THE MAN.

First time I ever read a book right through until dawn. Serves me right for starting is at some ungodly hour.

It is also the first proper glimpse at Harry's parents and their time at Hogwarts. And the Marauders Map, what an amazing tool that is.

Even after a decade, this book is still as magical as the first time I read it.

I shall review it again once another decade has past, see you then!
